About Maine Deca
State Information:
DECA chartered the State DECA Association of Maine in 1967. Since then, there have been ups and downs in membership, but in 1994-95, Maine proudly led the nation with a 62 percent membership increase.

Maine DECA adopted national competency-based testing in 1985, enabling state conference participants to qualify for at the annual International Career Development Conference (ICDC) competitions.
